Drew R. Zehnder- CPA & Owner  

Drew graduated from Michigan State University in 1982 with a BA in Finance and in 1985 with a BBA in Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. He joined the accounting firm of Laine, Appold & Co., P.C. in 1985 in Bay City, MI and transferred to their satellite office in Frankenmuth, MI in 1989. Drew specializes in many areas such as corporate, LLC, partnerships and individual taxes with primary emphasis on small businesses and agriculture.

 

Drew is a member of the AICPA and MACPA as well as serving on the board of directors of the Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company. His community affiliations include being a member of the Frankenmuth Rotary Club, treasurer of the Frankenmuth Autofest, treasurer of the Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation, treasurer of the Michigan Military Museum and past member of the Frankenmuth Jaycees. Currently he serves on the audit, cemetery and money management committees of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

His interests include golf, gardening, reading, spending time with spouse, Tracy, and 2 German Shepherds, and watching his horses run at various county fair race tracks.

Russell M. Welchli – CPA, CSEP & Owner  

Russell began his higher education at the College of Wooster, Ohio graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics in 1985. From there he attended Walsh College in Troy, MI and graduated in 1989 with a Masters of Science in Professional Accountancy. Russell specializes in many areas such as corporate, LLC, partnerships, individual taxes as well as a trusts and estates; he is also a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning.

In 2006 Russell became partners with Drew Zehnder and his associates. Prior to becoming partner Russell was an associate at the Andrews Hooper & Pavlik, PLC firm.

Russell is a member of the AICPA, MACPA and President of the Frankenmuth Morning Rotary. He is also Treasurer for the Frankenmuth Conservation Club as well as Treasurer for the Bay City River Roar. When time allows him to be away from the office, his interests include golf, hunting, being outdoors with his golden retrievers and reading.
